If you're not improving it's your fault.
Every information you need is in the Internet to learn something that makes you money.
It costs $0 to meet on Zoom.
It costs $0 to design on Canva.
It costs $0 to learn on YouTube.
It costs $0 to research on ChatGPT.
It costs $0 to reach out on LinkedIn.
If you are not improving, it's your fault.
Most people complain that they don’t have a skill that could make them money. They sit there and do nothing about it.
They are:
scrolling
mentally masturbating
gaming
binging
procrastinating
and wonder why the dreams they are dreaming of so hard are not coming true.
They are dreaming about the person they want to become, but they are not becoming the person they are dreaming of. Taking action is needed.
What action is needed?
→ An action that brings you closer to the person you want to become. Use this as a mental framework :
Every action you take is a vote for the person you want to become.
What person do you want to become?
→ Probably a person who is very good at something: a skilled person. To achieve a skilled character, you need skills.
How do you get them?
The traditional path teaches you to:
go to school
pay attention
do the assignments
be on time
be obedient
not think for yourself
go to college
earn the degree
Do you believe that traditional path is the only way to acquire a skill?
It is one way of learning a skill, but it’s highly overpriced.
If we just consider College:
Price of a typical private college: $50k a year.
Time needed for a typical college degree: 4 years.
$50k x 4 = $200k
Imagine yourself taking this money to invest in “so expensive” online courses. You could take around 200 online courses about all the things that you really need: Business, Marketing, Copywriting, Content Creation, Productivity, Designing, Coding, and so on.
But listen up.
From where do those creators get their information?
Exactly, from the Internet.
All the information you need to learn a skill is on the internet.
So why are you not the person you desire to be?
You’re missing:
discipline
consistency
good habits
self-awareness
the ability to focus
action taking
These things are what you need to become the person you desire to be.
I believe even without Information from the Internet you can acquire all skills you need to have to become the person you desire to be.
You only need to take action.
Do the thing you want to become better at.
Do the things like a camera crew would follow you around, documenting your success story.
Do the thing, fail, reflect, learn, improve, fail again…
Consume less. Create more. Take action.
